After traveling Europe, free-spirited Jessie finally settles in a small southern Ontario town in Canada where she meets four best friends; Michael the jerk, Luke the grump, Gabes the nerd and Christopher the queer who keeps everyone close until love intervenes causing the aces to put on their poker faces.

This is a Guelph based Improv troupe. This is an intro video for them made by ‘The Lense’. This troupe is the beginning to many other projects that Lynnvander spawned in the following 2 years. The first was casting John Battye in the 2006 Rendition of Four Aces as Gabes. Two years later Lynnvander Productions cast Kevin Sheward of the same old troupe to play the same Gabes character in the 2008 rendition of the same comedy Four Aces. Since then Tom Brown of the troupe is now the Chief of Operations at Synn Studios Inc. and works with Thomas Gofton of Lynnvander as a co-writer on Mind’s Eye.

The CASBY Award is a Canadian award for independent and alternative music, presented annually by Toronto, Ontario radio station CFNY. The name CASBY stands for Canadian Artists Selected By You.

The awards were first presented in 1981 under the name U-Knows, a pun on Canada’s mainstream Juno Awards. The concept was developed by David Marsden, the program director at CFNY at the time, when he heard the Juno nominations announced on CBC radio, and included was Long John Baldry as most promising vocalist [1]. They were renamed the CASBYs in 1986, after a listener contest.
