Get on the Bebop!

Cowboy Bebop: The Board Game is DONE!

In this fully cooperative game, players work together to complete each character’s story arch and win the game, encountering iconic characters and obstacles from the show along the way. Space travel takes money, which is always in short supply, so you’ll have to hunt down as many bounty-heads as you can catch in order to keep the Bebop fueled! If you ever run out of money, the game is lost!

This game releases at GEN CON 2019!  See you space cowboy…

Protecting Sunnydale!

board game design

Lynnvander Studios has teamed up with Jasco Games to bring you Buffy the Vampire Slayer: the Board Game!

In this fully cooperative game for 1 to 6 players that can be played in 40 to 60 minutes, you help Buffy and her friends to defend the town of Sunnydale from an onslaught of vampires and demons, while ultimately attempting to foil the big bad’s plot and prevent the Hellmouth from opening. You’ll have to work together, using all of your resources, including special character abilities to defend the helpless townies. In this game, you’ll play as your favorite characters from the show, characters from Buffy herself to Willow or Spike.

Buffy-BoxWe’ve developed Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game with the television show in mind every step of the way. Our motto when developing the game was, “make every time the game is played feel like an episode of the television show”. We’ve developed a simple to learn but challenging to win game that we’re sure new and experienced gamers will enjoy.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game is designed and developed by Lynnvander Studios, and will be brought to you by Jasco Games in the near future!

Lynnvander Meets Catalyst

We’re expanding all the time, designing more and more original and licensed games for major publishers in the industry. Now, we are proud to announce that one such publisher is Catalyst Game Labs.

CatalystCatalyst Game Labs, best known as the company behind Shadowrun, and Battletech has released great game after great game and we’re excited to be designing and developing what will hopefully be the first of many Lynnvander Studios games published by Catalyst Game Labs.

Our first collaboration with Catalyst Game Labs will be Galaxy Quest: The Board Game!

A fully cooperative, comedic, worker-placement board game all about the hazards and hijinks that occur when a team of actors is forced to take on the task of running a real alien space-ship. Based on the Galaxy Quest movie, this game will stay true to the humor of the film and will be a very approachable, fast-paced experience.

More on this in the coming weeks!

We’ve launched!

Please take a moment to review the KICKSTARTER and spread the word on Neverland’s Legacy, the third Legacy game!

All three

Having a legacy doesn’t mean having to grow up! Travel to Neverland with Peter Pan and his allies in the third epic installment in the Legacy series! Neverland’s Legacy is set in the same universe as Albion’s Legacy and Sherwood’s Legacy but is a totally stand-alone game that doesn’t require the other Legacy games to play.

In this strategic, dice-rolling skirmish game, you help either Peter Pan and his allies or Captain Hook and his crew to assault their rivals on Hook’s pirate ship or in the lost boys’ camp respectively. At the start of the game, you’ll choose which faction to play as and then set up the appropriate location to attack. Whether you’re playing as Peter and his allies or Hook and his crew, you’ll then assault your foes’ base of operations, drawing cards to search every nook and cranny for lost boys, fairies, and pirate treasure, while positioning yourselves around the board to bypass or fight off your enemies. As your foes cause you to fall into despair, you are forced to roll Stones of Chance instead of choosing your actions, making it more difficult to take optimal turns.

As Peter and his allies, the game is won when you rescue all of the lost boys aboard Hook’s ship. As Captain Hook and his crew, the game is won when you capture all of the lost boys hiding in their camp. In either case, the game is lost when your foes defeat enough of your characters!

You can collect metal miniatures, metal dice, tokens and more! Check out our KICKSTARTER page for more details and BACK US TODAY!

Legacy Campaign

 What is the Legacy Series?

When Albion’s Legacy was first created we wanted to do more than just one epic legend, so we decided to commit to a series of epic legends throughout time and culture that could culminate together to bring you the ultimate fantasy experience.

Neverland’s Legacy is the 3rd Legacy game of 9. Below are a few titles you can expect to see in the coming 2016 and 2017 Lynnvander/Jasco release year. We’ll take you from Feudal Japan all the way to the depths of Atlantis, whether riding a Chandelier as a Musketeer or sizing a French Castle as Joan of Arc, there will be something for everyone.

Adventure Awaits!

With Origins Game Fair, coming up fast, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be upholding tradition and Kickstarting the 3rd game in the Legacy series while we’re at the convention!

In the first Legacy Game, you helped King Arthur and his allies prevent the land from falling into despair. In the second, you helped Robin Hood to defend Sherwood Forrest from the Sheriff and his forces. Now, we’re making a stand and saying that having a legacy doesn’t mean having to grow up!

Our next Legacy game will take you to Neverland where you’ll help Peter Pan and his allies raid Captain Hook’s ship, or in a new turn for the series, you’ll be able to play an alternate game mode in which you help Captain Hook and his crew to raid the lost boys’ camp.

In addition, Peter Pan will even have support from his allies in Sherwood forest and Castle Camelot in Albion! This campaign will be chalk full of exciting exclusive content such as Albion’s Legacy 2nd edition metal miniature alternate sculpts, original sculpts for the last Albion’s Legacy expansion characters and all of our exclusive Legacy kickstarter expansions.

Travel to Neverland with Peter Pan and his allies when we launch the Neverland’s Legacy Kickstarter on June 15th!

This project is in partnership with Jasco Games.

Natural 20

Intro BannerIn 2013 Lynnvander Productions released The Gamers: Natural 1, a Cyberpunk action-comedy that bridged a fantastic dystopian future to our mundane – albeit charming – reality. The film followed Monica and Ryan as they tried to balance their lives, gaming, and a pact with Monica’s brother that threatened to divide them.  The Gamers: Natural 20 picks up a year or so after the dramatic ending of N1. The second of our Cyberrun series, N20 promises to be bigger, darker, and like nothing you’ve seen before. The Cyberrunners are back, leveled up and ready to kick butt!

Created by Thomas Gofton and written by Andy Dopieralski, with development by Don Early and Matt Vancil from The Dead Gentlemen Productions, this project brings old and new cast together for a production that will commence principal photography in January of 2016.

The Gamers: Natural 20 will make you laugh, maybe cry and quite possibly wince as we take you for a ride on the electric tornado that will dumpshock the drek out of you!

Stay tuned for our Kickstarter dates coming soon!

If you haven’t seen The Gamers: Natural 1, take a watch here!

Here is a sample of Natrual 1’s poster.  A Poster for N20 will be coming shortly after we fully cast!

This is Urinetown

Curtain Call’s Alumni

In March of 2007 the members of Curtain Call Productions brought you “Urinetown: The Musical”.  Now, October 2014, over 7 years later, in light of the University of Guelph’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the alumni have returned to perform an encore reprisal of this famous satirical comedy.  The Curtain Call alumni have been joined by additional performers and professionals to collaborate on one of the most unique and awesome shows to hit the stages of War Memorial Hall’s history!  This is one show you don’t want to miss.

Urinetown: The Musical is a satirical comedy musical from 2001, with music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Kotis. It satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, and municipal politics. The show also parodies musicals such as The Threepenny Opera, The Cradle Will Rock and Les Misérables, and the Broadway musical itself as a form. In reverse pantomime style, the unconventional plotline shatters audience expectations of a somewhat pleasant ending. The characters of Bobby Strong and Hope were included on New York Theatre Monthly’s list of “The 100 Greatest Roles in Musical Theatre”.

Curtain Call Productions

Curtain Call Productions is a registered club under the Central Student Association at the University of Guelph. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for the community of the University of Guelph and Wellington County to develop their artistic talent through musical theatre and by doing so foster or enhance an appreciation for the arts.

Curtain Call Productions (CCP) began as a student company in 1957 as part of College Royal festivities. The company performed plays, much like a variety show. The plays were self written and based on events that occurred on campus, or spoofs of everyday campus life. The company is now funded independently through donations, membership fees, and fundraising efforts both on and off-campus. CCP membership is comprised of the board of directors, executive board, cast, orchestra, and crew.

In 1993, CCP decided to try their hand at a full Broadway musical production with the generous financial help of College Royal and other academic colleges at the University. From there, CCP has grown in size and in stature making performances bigger and better while still being a full student-run volunteer production company.

Past musical productions include: Grease, West Side Story, City of Angels, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Fame, Tommy, A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, Guys and Dolls, Annie Get Your Gun, Chess, and Once Upon a Mattress. For their 50th Anniversary in 2007, Curtain Call was proud to present Urinetown: The Musical, followed by Zombie Prom: The Musical!, FAME!, Reefer Madness, Jekyll & Hyde, RENT!, and Caberet.
